Extensive Training and Experience
At Kristines Korner PLLC, I have focused training and experience in providing therapeutic services to adults, children, and couples. My collective expertise covers a wide range of areas, including domestic violence, crisis intervention, substance abuse, family and relationship challenges, learning difficulties, problem-solving skills, resilience-building, career and vocational guidance, anger and stress management, emotional triggers, and life skills development. With over 24 years of combined military service and three combat deployments, I bring a unique understanding of deployments and family separation to my practice.
Our Therapeutic Approach
At Kristines Korner PLLC, my therapeutic treatment approaches encompass client-centered therapy, narrative therapy, and solution-focused therapy. My educational background includes a Master's in Psychology, followed by a second Master's in Psychology with a specialization in family, couples, and individual psychotherapy. With a commitment to ongoing professional development, a Master's in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program is slated for completion in 2025. As a licensed therapist and registered nurse, I employ a holistic approach, integrating mental, emotional, and physical aspects into my sessions. During my initial session, I facilitate brief introductions and delve into specific challenges faced by my clients. This process aids in developing tailored plans and setting achievable goals for follow-up sessions.
